Pastor Bennett T. Cortez (Pastor T) is a native of Houston, Texas, born to the late Pastor Bennett J. Cortez and First Lady Emeritus Ruth M. Cortez who works closely with him in this Gospel Ministry. Pastor Cortez is married (20+ years) to the former Vickie Thomas.  He was educated at Klein Forest High School. He further advanced his biblical studies at the Midwest Biblical Institute and is currently attending The College of Biblical Studies. He has a very talented musical extended family – known throughout the country as the “Cortez Family”. For the past 20 years, Pastor Cortez has served as Associate Minister at the Greater Faith Baptist Church, Houston, Texas, where he was licensed and ordained to the pastorate of his father, the late Pastor Bennett J. Cortez. Under his pastor’s leadership, he served as Assistant to the Pastor. Prior to his appointment as Assistant Pastor, he served faithfully as the Youth Pastor.
